HomeSt. Francis of Assisi Newman Center, located in Macomb, Illinois, is a Catholic parish serving students at Western Illinois University since 1948. The Newman Center's mission is to support one another in growing and embracing the Catholic faith through hospitality, prayer, educational opportunities, and leadership within the community. Currently led by Father Marc Nakulu of the Society of African Missions, the Center offers various faith and social activities aimed at enhancing the spiritual lives of college students. Additionally, the community engages in Bible study focused on the Book of Acts, exploring the early Christian community's dynamics and challenges.
