Church of St Stephen

The Church of St Stephen is a Catholic church located at 30 Sallim Road in Singapore. It was founded in 1933 and named after St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr. The church is known for its impressive neo-Gothic architecture and beautiful stained glass windows depicting scenes from the life of Christ.

The church has undergone several renovations over the years, with the most recent one completed in 2015. The renovations included the installation of a new sound system and air conditioning, as well as the refurbishment of the interior and exterior of the building.

One of the unique features of the church is its bell tower, which houses five bronze bells. The largest bell, called the "Maria Assumpta," weighs over a ton and is rung during important church celebrations.

The Church of St Stephen is also known for its active community and various outreach programs. These programs include youth ministry, senior citizen activities, and support for migrant workers. The church is a popular destination for both locals and tourists, and visitors are welcome to attend Mass and other services.
