HomeSt. Margaret Shrine in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is a Catholic parish dedicated to St. Margaret of Antioch, a martyr venerated since the early fourth century. Founded in 1941 by Rev. Fr. Emilio Iasiello, the Shrine was officially dedicated on September 20, 1942, by Most Reverend Maurice F. McAuliffe. The Shrine has been designated as The Diocesan Shrine for the Diocese of Bridgeport since January 2012 and features various shrines and statues honoring saints from different cultural backgrounds.
