HomeSt. Elizabeth / St. Malachy Parish is a Catholic parish located in Thomasboro, Illinois. The parish serves Northern Champaign County and Northwestern Vermilion County, alongside St. Malachy Church in Rantoul and St. Lawrence Church in Penfield. The parish operates St. Malachy School and manages three parish cemeteries. Its mission is to present the transformative grace of Jesus Christ through the sacraments, prayer, and acts of mercy, and it is aligned with the Growing Disciples pastoral plan initiated by Bishop Lou Tylka. Notably, the parish is preparing to celebrate the 125th anniversary of St. Malachy Church in December 2026.
