HomeSt. Joseph is a Catholic parish located in West Warwick, Rhode Island. Founded in 1899 at the request of Bishop Harkins, the parish was initially served by the Canadian Province of the Missionaries of Sacred Heart until 1974, followed by the American Province until 1989. Over the decades, notable priests have included Rev. Fr. Daniel Lahane, who served from 1899 to 1904, and Rev. Fr. Peter L’Esperance, who served for an impressive 37 years from 1904 to 1941.
