HomeSt. Jerome Church, located in New Britain, Connecticut, is a Catholic parish that was established in 1958 as a result of the growth of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. The Reverend James K. Brophy, the founding pastor, played a significant role in the early development of both parishes. Under the guidance of various priests, including Rev. Fr. Henry P. Dullard and later, Rev. Fr. Alphonse S. Labieniec and Rev. Fr. Kenneth H. Shiner, the parish expanded its community and outreach efforts.
