HomeSt. Thomas More, located in Toowoomba, Queensland, is a Catholic parish that serves the southeastern community of the city. Established in 1960 and officially declared a parish in September 1960 by Bishop Brennan, it was inspired by Bishop Roper's vision and grew from humble beginnings in a farmhouse. The parish includes St Thomas More’s Primary School, which provides Catholic education from Preschool to Year 6, and has experienced significant growth and development over the decades, including the opening of the current church building in 1991 and its dedication in June 2008. The parish operates under a Pastoral Council model, following a change in leadership structure after the retirement of Rev. Fr. Frank Leonard in 2003.
