HomeSt. Therese Parish in Granby, Connecticut, is a Catholic parish that officially serves the communities of Granby, Tariffville, and the Hartlands. The parish has its roots in a history that dates back to 1846, when the first Mass in Tariffville was celebrated by Fr. John Brady. Originally, this community grew from St. Paul’s Chapel, established in 1850, and later became St. Bernard Parish in 1881. After the closure of St. Bernard Church in 2017 as part of the Archdiocese of Hartford's pastoral planning, St. Therese Parish emerged to provide a unified space for worship and community. The parish offers a comprehensive Faith Formation program for children from Pre-K through high school, including classes for First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
