HomeSt. Theresa Parish in Trumbull, Connecticut, is a Catholic parish founded on October 4, 1934, by Bishop Maurice F. McAuliffe of Hartford. It was the first Catholic church established in Trumbull and dedicated in honor of Saint Theresa, the Little Flower of Jesus. The parish experienced growth, leading to the construction of the current granite and limestone church, dedicated on April 1, 1962, by Bishop Walter W. Curtis. Active ministries include the IGNITE Youth Ministry, which serves middle school youth, and the Sons of Saint Joseph, focused on spiritual growth for men.
