HomeSt. Sebastian/St. Fabian is a Catholic parish located in Yeronga, Queensland, Australia, within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane. The parish has a significant history, beginning with the original church, Kadumba House, which was blessed on April 19, 1925. St Fabian’s Church, dedicated to servicemen buried in the El Alamein War Cemetery, was blessed and opened on May 23, 1965, and is notable for being the first church in the Archdiocese built to the new liturgical requirements. In 2012, to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of El Alamein, the parish commissioned stained-glass windows depicting Saints Sebastian and Fabian, alongside themes from the conflict.
