HomeSt. Peter's Church, located in Hazel Grove, Stockport, England, is a Catholic parish founded in 1897. Originally a mission chapel, it became an independent parish in 1923/24 and was established at its current site after the foundation stone was laid by the Rt. Rev. Hugh Singleton on August 23, 1930. The church was dedicated to St. Peter and officially opened on April 12, 1931. The parish has seen growth in both population and facility over the decades, with notable enlargements in the 1960s and internal renovations completed in 2006.
