St. Leonard & St. Mary is a Catholic parish located in Malton, England, within the Diocese of Middlesbrough. Founded in 1190, it is considered the oldest Roman Catholic Church still in use in England and was established by the Gilbertine canons from St Mary’s Priory in Old Malton. The parish encompasses approximately 200 square miles, serving the towns of Malton and Norton-on-Derwent, along with over 40 surrounding villages.
