Sacred Heart Mass Schedule

Sacred Heart is a Catholic parish located in Franklin, Illinois. Established in 1866, the parish initially sought to create a place of worship for local Catholics and saw its first church building completed on March 18, 1886. After a fire in 1893, the community rebuilt even more impressively, with the new brick church dedicated on January 1, 1894, featuring a spire that reaches 190 feet and can be seen for miles. The church has a seating capacity of 500 and remains a testament to the dedication of its founding members and pastoral leadership, including Rev. Fr. Patrick A. Lyons, who served from 1897 to 1904.
