Our Lady of the Rosary Mass Schedule

Our Lady of the Rosary, located in Shotley Bridge, Consett, is a Catholic parish established in 1949. Originally, parishioners worshipped at St Mary’s in Blackhill until Fr. John Kelly began holding masses in the presbytery on Snow Green Road. The church was built in 1952 and features a church hall frequently utilized by the local community, including the Shotley Bridge Brownies Group. Since 2017, the parish has collaborated with four sister parishes, and it is currently served by Rev. Fr. Tom McHale and Rev. Fr. John Bagnall.
