HomeOur Lady's Nativity is a Catholic parish located in Leixlip, Leinster, Ireland. Established in 1833, the parish replaced a previous church built around 1750 and was constructed with the labor of the local Catholic community following the permission granted to Father Patrick Savage after Catholic Emancipation in 1829. The parish became independent from Maynooth in June 1971, with Father Christopher Hyland serving as its first parish priest. Significant renovations, including the addition of two transepts, were completed in 1991 to accommodate the growing population of Leixlip.
