HomeSt. Bede’s College Chapel - Christ the Redeemer Parish, located in Christchurch, Southland, is a Catholic parish formed from the amalgamation of three former parishes—Christ the King, Holy Trinity, and St. Joseph’s—on Pentecost Sunday in 2020. Under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Rick Loughnan, the parish's vision is centered on being a missionary community that helps individuals come to know Jesus personally, grow as disciples, and share the Gospel message with others. In 2024, the parish adopted the patronage of Christ the Redeemer following a discernment process initiated by Bishop Michael.
