HomeImmaculate Conception Parish Church is a Roman Catholic parish in the Concepcion Uno district of Marikina City, Metro Manila, and one of the community's most cherished places of worship under the Diocese of Antipolo. It is dedicated to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, whose title also gave the surrounding barangay its present name.
History
The parish traces its roots to a humble chapel raised in 1949 in what was then Barrio Bayan-Bayanan, established through the guidance of Father Jose Mirasol. As the faithful grew, a sturdier chapel was completed in 1957 with support from Manila Archbishop Rufino Santos, later a cardinal, who blessed it that December. The barrio was renamed Concepcion in 1956, and the parish was canonically established in 1958, having earlier formed part of Our Lady of the Abandoned, Marikina's oldest parish. The cornerstone of the present church was laid on the feast of the Immaculate Conception in 1969, and the completed building was blessed in 1970. Today the parish belongs to the Diocese of Antipolo.

The parish honors Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, celebrating its fiesta each December 8 with novena Masses and festive gatherings that draw the wider Marikina community. Throughout the year it remains a busy neighborhood church, and it is a favored stop during Holy Week for devotees making the traditional Visita Iglesia. Visitors will find a welcoming congregation, easy access from Bayan-Bayanan Avenue, and a calm interior well suited to quiet prayer and reflection.
