HomeSt. Brigid of Kildare is a Catholic parish located in South Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 1908 as a mission church of Gate of Heaven Parish, it became its own parish to better serve the City Point neighborhood. The parish offers a range of programs including Confirmation, Marriage Preparation, CYO Basketball, Religious Education, Bible Study, Baptismal Preparation, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. St. Brigid of Kildare also hosts the South Boston Catholic Academy, which provides education from preschool through grade six, emphasizing its motto of “Faith, Family, and Academic Excellence.”
