Dumaguete’s Catherine of Alexandria Parish Church or better known as Dumaguete Cathedral is located in the heart of the city along Gov. Perdices Street across Quezon Park. It is the center of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dumaguete. It is one of the most historic landmarks in the City of Dumaguete. The foundation of the church was first laid in the year 1754. The church claims to be the oldest stone church in Negros and was reconstructed in 1885.
