Pope accepts Parañaque bishop’s retirement, names administrator

Pope Leo XIV has accepted the resignation of Jesse Mercado from the pastoral care of the Diocese of Parañaque upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 75 for bishops, the papal nuncio said Saturday.
