This indulgence may also be applied, by way of suffrage, to the souls of the faithful detained in Purgatory, if the faithful visit, in the form of a pilgrimage, the Cathedral Church of Antipolo and the International Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, and there devoutly participate in sacred rites—especially in the solemn pilgrimage of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which will take place with great crowds—or at least, before the image of the Virgin Mother of God exposed for public veneration, devote themselves for a suitable period of time to pious reflections, prayers, or other works of Christian devotion for the glory of God, and pour out devout prayers to God for peace and the concord of peoples against the errors of the present day, concluding with the Lord’s Prayer, the Profession of Faith, and invocations to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace, Mother of Mercy.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗸, 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗯𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, provided that they detest all sin and intend to fulfill the three usual conditions as soon as possible, if they unite themselves spiritually to the Marian celebrations, offering their prayers, sufferings, and the hardships of their own lives to the merciful God, thereby consoling themselves in their tribulations.

So that access to divine forgiveness through the keys of the Church may become easier through pastoral charity, this Apostolic Penitentiary earnestly requests that priests, endowed with appropriate faculties to hear confessions, make themselves available with a ready, generous, and merciful spirit for the celebration of the Sacrament of Penance.
